I just finished Before the Fall and was thrilled to see what appeared to be a mystery wrapped around social commentary, with the latter as the primary topic.
Loved it and am now reading The Good Father which likewise seems to look at what makes a man (not?) a good father and what makes an assassin.. not necessarily whether the 20 year old in the story acted alone.
