I'm glad you said that! I loved All The Light We Cannot See, and was hoping i'd love A Gentleman in Moscow as well!
Also, if you haven’t already read it, Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro (just won the Nobel prize in literature.)
All the Light We Cannot See is seriously the best book I have ever read. As someone else noted, The Book Thief is also amazing. Barbara Kingsolver is awesome, Ann Patchett is too, The Invention of Wings. Their Eyes Were Watching God. Beloved. And Tana French's and Louise Penny's mysteries. Also almost anything by Anne Lamott, especially her fiction and longer books of essays.
Have read this a couple of times and live it more every time I do. My book club discussed in February, at my suggestion. Moving book.
