My thoughts exactly.
I feel the same way. I am halfway through the book and keep plodding along hoping it will get better. Not really sure if I can finish it.
Just finished it and I'd like to add: the title is more interesting than its contents. Tana French's books are among my favorite.
I am forcing myself to finish it only because I want to know "who done it". But, seriously, to call this book "plodding" is an understatement (especially the first half). And can the lead character be any more of a b****? Sheesh.
