I am more of a newcomer, but may I add that working at the same desk becomes repetitive. I have taken my laptop and worked in libraries and 'posh' hotel public rooms for a bit, finding it very revitalising. Also reading manuscript in printed form makes a great change from staring at it on the computer screen, also getting a friend to read excerpts back to you could be helpful.
