Same here! I agree with you on all of it!
I'm more than half way through the book and I agree with all of you. The editing is terrible but I can overlook that part. I feel it is way too long and I find myself skip reading, which I have never done with any book I really enjoy. No point in going over anything else because you all voiced my opinion. I just have one more comment though. My feeling about Russ is that he is a wuss!!
I finally finished the book and I agree, that it was not his best work. As far as not portraying God in their lives, this did not bother me at all because there are many people who could probably relate to that. I won't judge on that aspect.
I agree with you - least favourite of all his books, in my book too. It's amazing I finished it till the end. lol.
