Drew Please! Ramble! I definitely find that view about history interesting, though a little sad things won't be a bit better in the Parasolverse. Could we imagine that the parasolverse might be more progressive toward LGBT though? Lord Akeldama seems pretty flagrant, and the werewolves don't seem particularly coy about their sexuality.

I'm very, very excited about the new m/m paranormal romance you're writing. I follow your blog and your monthly chirrup, so I've been all agog about it. I absolutely loved Marine Biology. It's not overly common to find interesting, three dimensional LGBT characters in fantasy or science fiction, so I'm really pleased that you aren't afraid to include them. I was a little sad none showed up in Finishing School though, as I think a giant floating school full of girls had to have a little f/f going on, especially among spies. I also imagine similar among the Bunson boys.

Do you think Miss Geraldine's will ever be revived? I can totally imagine a Finishing School existing during WWI, WWII and the Cold War, training girls (and maybe even boys) to be spies.

Gail Carriger If you want to know more, than you should probubly read the San Andreas Shifter series. I'm not saying they're connected... I'm also not saying they aren't connected, either...
