And...his mamaw & papaw's love, and his sister Lindsey. His grit & attitude were supported by genuine love...a powerful combination.
not only...understanding from people who took the time to understand also "saved" him.
Attitude is only one component and can take you only so far in life, especially when you're young. It takes a lot more than that to dig oneself out of that pit. His strength and the help of a few key people (mainly his grandparents), is what made the difference. As sad as his story is, there are many that have gone through that much and even more that have fought their way out.
