I have just started reading this one. I appears a lot more research based than Hillbilly Eulogy, which I like.
I agree. Excellent book which helped explain more than some of the current reads about 'poor' white working class and their lack of ________________ (fill in the blanks).
White Trash is enormously influential on my thinking about our current political climate. This books, not so much.
