Yes agree but you wanted to shake Judah to go find a more worthy mate. Also, where did the freaking money at the end come from? Are we to think that Carrie got it by pretending to be the wife? Was not clear.
I felt that way too, that she could have explained in detail how Carrie escaped. But at the same time, the story was in Laura's perspective. She has no way of knowing what happened after she left, so therefore, we won't either. I think Carrie sent her money as a thank you and a way of letting her know she was okay.
