Bookwatcher Thanks for the answer :). I think I would love to read more adventures. How would the mermen society react after the end of the book. Will more mermen/mermaids decide to join the human world? If so, will they search for Raef, to have him as a mentor? Answers to open questions like that could be explored... And of course, also about Jon's past. There are glimpses about his life, but not much. Will Jon open himself and tell everything to Raef? So much to know and I'm happy you left so much untold...readers can use imagination and fill the gaps but it left also so many possibilities to be explored in a possible sequel (s). That's why I was asking.
:)

Kay Berrisford I did have a plan for a sequel, in which a lot of your questions about would be answered :) We would see a lot more of Jon and Raef, but we would also learn more about Raef's friend, Ali, who is devoted to staying in the mer's city and making things right, as well as his quest for love... We would learn some sinister details about the tribe's history as well as follow Raef and Jon through some rocky times, as they figure out how (if?) a human and a mer can be together...

Alas, it might never get written... but maybe it will ;) I'm probably answering at a bad time, as I felt that this book was one of my last rolls at the m/m dice, and I'm not sure that many people have liked it... but as I said, we will see. Your lovely message has certainly made me want to return to this world :)

Bookwatcher Oh, I'm so happy I may have done the right question at the right moment. I understand writers must follow what their muses tell them to do, so my question was not a "when" but "if" more would be release. Have fun writing more, if you feel you want to :). I will certainly have fun reading more :) Raef and Jon intrigues me, congratulations for creating such inspirational fantasy world. :))))

Kay Berrisford *hugs* Thank you for enjoying it :) It means a lot to me (and I mean that... it really does. So often, you only hear the negative feedback and in the end, it grinds you down. To have made somebody happy and want more is so special. Thank you!!!)
