That is amazing. I suppose we writers have the ability to change the world, albeit through our creations. I love this map idea. I've always wanted to do it, but since I'm mobile all the time, I don't have my own wall :)
Mara, before I obtained this huge canvas that the painting on it was wrecked and I was able to paint over it, I used cardboard Story Boards. They sell them in places like AC Moore, Michael's and I'm sure other places. It folds in three sections and you can put it in the back of the car or your trunk or wherever. Just a suggestion of another way to map your story.
