John Walker Now I need to buy it again and re-read it. I loved all of the books in the series.

Robbi Holman When I was in Basic Combat Training in the army, we were not allowed any personal reading material. Obviously later on in our advanced training we would have more freedoms but the first 9 weeks, no books. I followed that rule for three weeks. We got a break at Christmas and I smuggled in 5 or 6 of your books and hid them behind the drawers of my wall locker. In January one of my platoon-mates ended up with a pretty severe back injury and was put on "Zero Profile," meaning no physical activity, no training, nothing, while he waited to get discharged. He corners me in the platoon bay one day and says, "HOLMAN. Where's the books?! I know you've got books. I NEED ONE. I'm going INSANE." I gave him Barrayar. He comes back a couple days later. "That was great. What else you got?" I ended up running a clandestine lending library - all of your Bujold books. Because... no books? Ridiculous.
