Chris McGrath I was really impressed with Emperor's Soul, if not my favorite of your books, I did love it and felt that it did everything you are best at in a third of the words. Perfect book for introducing new readers to your work.

Tim Cotton Given that the Hugo's seem to lean toward shorter works, and definitely against multi-volume epics, The Emperor's Soul was more likey to win, being an "epic novella", than say Warbreaker or any part of the Mistborn trilogy. Words of Radiance is, to me, your best work ever, with AMOL a strong second.

Brian I guess I should read Emporer's Soul then, but I guess I need to read Elantris first. the only book of your I haven't read I think.

Ricardo L. Walker I just finished Lies. When I recommend you, as I aways do when someone, anyone, asks for recommendations....I always start with Emperor's Soul. I know you pick up on this...Shai shapes the Emperor into his best self and comes to love him. You did the same thing. Daniel Day Lewis talks about the ache he felt when he finished "being" Lincoln and how he had real grief because he had come to love him. I love this story so much. I just finished Lies and feel the same. I'm so grateful for your gift and how you have chosen to use it.

Phoenix I loved Emperor's soul, but really would love additional books about the main character and her back story. Any plans for something here? And if not, why not? Thanks
