Andee Western cancer rates aren't due to a lack of soy, but rather an over abundance of red meat, dairy and carbs, along with a whole lot of environmental crap beyond everyone's control. Your comment is both snide and ill informed.

Karen I'm saying that people who consume lots of soy aren't getting high rates of breast cancer because of it. However, when the diet becomes more western as has happened in Japan cancer increases. So if studies are valid populations who consuming a large variety of soy products should have high breast cancer, which they don't. I was not being snide & the original commentor was conflited. So why is soy taboo who's funding the studies saying soy is bad? Where are these studies. Statistics show that it isn't true or Asia would have high rates.
