I would have to agree that for someone to quote passages of books on the fly like Beatty did, they would have to be quite the avid reader. I did picked up on the contradictory disdain that he holds for books, because it is clear that he loves them. Very cool that you were part of a production and even cooler that you are playing around with changing the characters up. Congratulations. Bradbury wrote a stage play in the 70s and the Beatty character is a great collector of books and has his own extensive library.
