I agree with you , I am halfway through watchman after finishing TKAM last week and I feel it is two totally different styles of writing, I feel the characters are all wrong I feel let down maybe? I am not sure how I feel but I do feel it's two completely separate people. I also did do my research and read all about how it was suposed to be the first book and I feel that is all wrong as well. Something is off for sure and I do feel like the family needed an income boost to pay for care or final expenses or something and I feel it was a money-making scam.
