Krausj2: This is such a clear, intelligent and -- to my mind -- accurate interpretation of the interrogation scene that I had to thank you. It is what I had thought also, but could not have expressed so well. I am going to send it to my book group. Small note: the question is: "What is more precious than independence and freedom?" It was a great book and deserving of the Pulitzer Prize.
