Perfect explanation. Just finished it and felt the same way
I am sorry, I do not agree at all. Although it is not a page turner, it cannot, from any perspective, be compared to an essay. It is essentially ambiguous and meant to be read that way. I have never read an essay which is so deliberately and beautifully ambiguous. How you draw that comparison is beyond me.
