Education about the Holocaust is a must in schools; but with all the cuts in education across the nation and the inability of teachers in states with no teaching Holocaust mandate, it is hard to get a course on the Holocaust across. As a USHMM Teacher Fellow, I can say that we try. Even those of us retired keep trying.
