Tien Oh NOoooo! I thought it was gong to be a whole series; not just a trilogy :'(
Was looking forward to, at least, half a dozen of them ;p

Cee (The Mistress Case) Same here; I thought it would be a series. Nonetheless, I will be happy with anything you have in store :)

Rachel I thought there would be a book for every year or so she made the promise for :(

Juliet I don't think there was a promise - I can never promise anything beyond the end of the current contract. I will be negotiating a new contract soon (or my agent will be doing it for me) and I hope it will be for more Blackthorn & Grim. I did intend it to be an ongoing series. However I did need to write Den of Wolves as a novel that could either be the last in the series or a stepping off point for more - otherwise, if the publishers had said no to more, readers would have felt let down as they were at the end of the Bridei and Wildwood series, both of which ended before I wanted them to. I am delighted that you want more B&G as I love them too. But I am dependent on the publishers and their decisions are largely based on sales. I do realise self-publishing is an option but the production quality would not be as good (for instance, I could not afford an artist of that quality for the covers) and nor would the marketing, the distribution and so on. A lot of my time would be sucked up by the business side, which I don't enjoy, leaving me less time to write. I do care what readers think, and I will do my best to make this happen. Also, as I said in my initial post, I will let you know as soon as I have an answer.
