It's not stupid, and I really should have explained it in the answer, I'm sorry! OT3 is a fandom-derived play on the term OTP (One True Pairing) that people use for their favorite couples and ships. OT3 means there are three people instead of two. It's just fandom slang for saying it will be a threesome.
