Rafie Wilson Check out Brandon Sanderson if you haven't.

Liz Ross Yep Brandon is a prolific writer, only slight issue is that he has so many series on the go. Robin Hobb & Mark Lawrence are my heroes in terms of reliability. Bring out a trilogy and publish over 3 years - Works for me

Tyler Sorry, I know this is really late responding, but this struck a nerve. I dislike the idea that a a novella is "wasting time." Short fiction is a dying style, and one I'm quite fond of. I think it's sad we live in a time where writing a short story can be considered a waste, since there are so many great authors who wrote brilliant short stories and novellas.

Steve Isom Yep, Brandon Sanderson has given me a number of wonderful books to read while waiting for DOS

Eric Meade It is even worse than that, him and his publisher lied and claimed the the books were nearly finished at the release of name of the wind.

Dennis That's exactly what he's doing milking it. I can't believe he released the POS book 2.5 or whatever the heck it's called instead of focusing his efforts to "edit" the final book in the trilogy. Nevermind comic con and all the other bullshit he's doing.
