MetLineReader I have to say I had no idea that Viola was a pen name until I finished this book. I loved it - the fact that Viola is your grandmother's name made it more magical. Kudos for writing this under a pen name, I might not have picked it up otherwise but i'm so glad i did!

Viola Shipman Thank you! And so glad you loved the book. Truly a tribute to my grandmothers' charms, lives and lessons as well our elders. Happy Spring, and hope you are able to recommend the book to others! Much love, Wade/Viola

Tricia McBride I had no problem knowing it was a male writing this book, in fact, I feel it showed how much his Grandmothers meant to him.

Thank you, Tricia! And they did!

Harriett Thornton I had no clue that The Summer Cottage was written by a male until I finished the book. I was totally surprised. It's the only book I have read by Viola Shipman, but I plan to read the others.
