Thanks John, I was not aware of your translation and was able to see a sample on the site provided. I note you maintain rhyme. Which really brings home the formal structure, the neo-classicism, if you like. I'm going to order a copy through my local bookstore. I've read, perhaps, every English translation available but, as you know, being a translator, something is always lost in the process.
Now, if only someone would bring out an English translation of some Francis Jammes....
