I couldn't agree more, Collette, about "Room," and "Fifty Shades." Did you also hate "Gone Girl"? I thought that was overrated too (understatement of the year). I always seem to be in the minority on these matters, but I guess I am in good company. :)
I was a little discouraged, but trudged along and I'm glad I did. Sorry you didn't like it.
It's not really based on a true story, but loosely inspired by a true story in Austria where a father locked his daughter in a cellar for 24 years.
