I agree with you. Red Rising is FAR superior to the Hunger Games trilogy. Where Hunger Games falls flat as the trilogy progresses, the Red Rising trilogy continues to improve. It is 3D while Hunger Games is 2D. Every colour in the spectrum vs. black and white. There are more characters. A deeper world. This isn't good vs. evil. It's a world where everyone is fighting for what they know to be "good" and "right". The number of emotions and themes that are truly genuine within the Red Rising trilogy far surpass what I felt reading the Hunger Games.
Exactly. More of a mix of aSoIaF and Ender's Game. Though slightly easier read than Game of Thrones, but the world I think is as rich, just all from one character.
