Melanie Wow! Thank you so much for this great answer. I love historical fiction and a touch of paranormal is always fun. With Scottish heritage and a Scots husband I am often drawn to anything based in Scottish History. I also love the mystery of New Orleans so you have presented me with a tough choice. As I have just finished "Drums of Autumn" from the Outlander Series (Scotland/NewWorld) I think I will take a turn to New Orleans and start with "Midnight on Julia Street". I am so glad I found you on Goodreads! I think my work of reading has just welcomed a new favourite author.
Thanks so much.
Happy Holidays
Melanie

Ciji Ware Hi again, Melanie! Wow...back! Our interests certainly match up quite a bit, don't they?(I have a Scots husband--mang generations here in the US--so much so that Mac Cook got shortened to "Cook!" At any rate, once you finished JULIA STREET, you might want to know that Book 3 in my Four Seasons Quartet, THAT WINTER IN VENICE is a sequel that takes place AFTER Katrina...12 years after the first book is set. It was great fun "meeting up"with Corlis and King (as secondary characters) after all that time! Meanwhile, Happy Hols!
