I wanted to blow you a kiss, but I seem to get all kinds of unintended secondary meanings when I google to check if this has the same cultural connotation everywhere to the one I meant it to have, so I'll refrain and just hug you back.

Here in America, it can mean "Goodbye," or what a kiss on the cheek up close would mean, or can be romantic if you do it with a love interest....or it can be sarcastic. I blow kisses at other drivers who piss me off and at people who have comments about my religion or sexuality to make (invariably they always shout these, from VERY safe distances. Cowards.)

So it can also mean "Fuck you too, sweetness!" depending on context. XD.

A hug is probably simpler all around
