I must say that i love the theory of the two worlds, but may i ask how did you come up with that idea?
I wasnt so creative to come up with this idea on my own. I saw the stage version of Kafka on the Shore by the 80 years old director Ninagawa. Seeing the story on stage gave me so many new ideas about the story that I wished I had answered more questions while the play was still fresh in my mind.
All I know now is also every character has also a parallel in the other world. For example, Kaftka is Nakata and his mother's ex lover, his mother was the teacher that hit Nakata and therefore was waiting for Nakata to come to the forest. Also both Nakata and Miss Saeki have light shadows meaning that they can travel between the two worlds.
