Elise, you with your YA books for older readers are amazing! I (and many of my friends) see nothing wrong in sex inside YA books. Authors describe killings, violence, horrible things but avoid sex, 'cause this is not a good topic for young minds. I mean, sex is better than killing, and sex can be developed in very beautiful, sensual way. So I'm so happy that my favorite characters would share such moments (btw, my favs not only Aldrik and Vhalla, Bardair too!)). Thank you!)
