Yes, but Winter is based off of the Snow White story. Marissa Meyer has even said this. So, if you think about it then....yes, Juliette Butler's brilliant answer has got to be right. Thanks Juliette! I love this author!!!!
That is not true. They all have their own stories. It's basically saying that Winter is from Cinder's story.
Characters are allowed to cross stories! That's the fun of weaving so many different stories together!
