This might sound really stupid. So I apologise but I don't understand what kristen meant when she wrote this. - ( not knowing herself that Frey had strayed and was advising Finnie on how to deal)
I really don't understand what that sentence means.
it meant - Finnie's mother was under the assumption that he did stray, so she was explaining to her daughter and giving her advice on how to deal with it and still have a happy marriage. BUT - Frey did not stray, he was always true to his Finnie. Have you read the story? It's fantastic :)
