I disagree completely! Young readers love to be challenged. Many bright young readers have enjoyed this book and we have had great discussions about some of the challenging bits. Don't underestimate kids!
Not understand estimating kids, but just saying I wouldn't classify this as a kids book. Not that maybe some kids couldn't enjoy it, but it obviously want made for kids or young adults in mind.
I don't think it would be over their heads and anything they didn't understand they could look up, with Google it would be a snap.
