Solid advice here. Thanks, DiAnn.
Thank you for the advice. I know I struggle often with is it worth writing when I see all the hurtles of getting published.
My Aunt self published a auto biography on her years in the mission field (she was a nurse in Africa) and the upfront costs have nearly scared me away. She believes she will probably never make back the money she invested. And she was a famous missionary in her field of medicine, and a good story teller too.
I know we write because we fell we have to, because the story burns inside us and longs to be told. But it is hard to stay the journey.
I have enjoyed reading (or rather listening) to the two book series Crime Scene: Houston; made me really think about starting to write again. Though I promise to never stick my story under someone's bathroom stall.
