Willa presents as a gay female, & if there were hints that she might be transgender, I didn't pick up on it. Rocky doesn't reveal anything about Willa except that she has had anxiety issues.
I would agree on the possible suicide angle, but I disagree on the gender transition due to the many many times Rocky mentions how glad she is Willa won't accidentally get pregnant, and Willa's responses.
