Excellent way of wording it. I felt great waves of emotion in that bit as well but I didn't cry. When I re-read it I found that that part wasn't the same as the first time because I knew the ending.
I felt so proud of her insistence in walking with him. It was the best example of her fearless nature, putting her life at risk to walk with him. Everyone needs a friend like Liesel.
You know, guys? I'm crying right now just reading your comments because I instantly remember that part. Gosh it's amazing.
