Totally agree. Wasn't into it until we got out of the mines. Then, mind blown!
yeah, it takes a moment to get used to him but if you do it, you are in for a treat!
I agree completely, my friend bought it for me, and I had trouble getting past the mines. It wasn't till after the mines that I began to appreciate what was put into them and all the little things that click if you go back and re-read Red Rising.
Indeed. At the beginning you're for a moment like, why do I need to know all this? Then when he's out it all make sense and we get why he's doing what he's doing.
