We picked the name because it was a common sort of name. I'm sure the author Mark Cooper is a lovely guy, but no, definitely not the inspiration for this! And the artist who deigned the cover chooses the model - we don't get a lot of input into that decision.The story definitely isn't based on any real people - most of it came about because me and my co-author spend so much time arguing about American vs Australian English!

Lisa, thanks for clearing that up. Although it looks like you picked up fans albeit a bit young, so its all good. I have to agree with the Mark A. Cooper author fans, your model does look like him a little. I came across your novel like others because of the name and now I am a fan of yours so all is good :)

I'm glad that those of you who tried the novel liked it anyway, but it definitely has nothing to do with the author Mark A. Cooper. And the cover model wasn't chosen by us. That's down to the publisher.
