Very much too soon but oh so appropriate to the story and the setting. It still smarts and I'm so happy to have more coming. It hurt too much to think that might be the ending of the timeline even with Ivan's jaunt coming after it in publication.
I cried when I saw the spoiler and I cried when I read the novel. Thank you and damn you for the feelings. And don't take the damning personally. It is kindly meant.
Coming across this question and answer again, I think I see one of the reasons you are a successful writer, and I am not. I might have spent days trying to figure out what Gregor was wearing. You clearly understood, intuited, didn't worry about the lack of importance of that detail.
I'm with all your other readers in having cried at the end of Cryoburn. For the arc you have created, it was nearly perfect story-wise, but it is always painful to "lose" a character one has come to care for so deeply.
