Chitra ohh yes i get it..I like to read books recently. because a few months ago I had to prepare for the national exam. so I do not have much time to read books that I like. and now I realize that reading a book is very important to us. in addition to reading books about school subjects which are equally important too. and i think by reading books we could find ourselves character. hehe.

Sarah You said it well. And I totally remember going through that. Even now I'm not reading because I'm writing and don't like to have any other sources in my brain when creating. I miss it a ton and find myself really looking forward to getting a chance to read again. And yes, I totally agree about finding ourselves in characters and also being inspired by them. There's some who have made me want to be a better person. Love that.

Chitra are you a student or? and What has made you want to be a writer? Sometimes I also dream to be a writer. hehe. but I don't know when I can learn to be a writer because I still need a lot of reading books. and also completed my duties as a student. maybe someday. I prefer to read and want to collect a lot of books at the moment. the habit of reading a book is still lacking in my country. most of the teenagers in my country prefer to play their gadgets. how do you think?

Sarah I was a student for many years. Now I teach students at a college. I remember the days of having to study and not being able to read for fun. I've always wanted to write and be a writer. I've always had so many stories going on in my head and characters waking me up in the middle of the night. If you dream of writing then you should do it. All it takes it practice, persistence and time. Do what you're doing now and read as much as you can. One day a story will come to you and that's when you can start writing. Life can be demanding, but a story is created one sentence at a time. That's an interesting insight into your peers. I think that it's mixed here. If you love to read then do that, because at the end of the day the stories you read will stay with you and the things people do on gadgets fade away. That's how I feel anyway. That's why I hardly watching television or play games. I prefer the things that last. So lastly, do you read electronically or on paper back? or both?

Chitra I like the way you think. yes of course because you're a writer so so you have a lot of opinions. That's the reason why I really want to read more books. because indirectly reading habits can also set the way people think. both. Because I rarely go out of the house. so, if I want to read a book but I do not find in the bookstore I'll look it up on the internet and download the ebook version. and then when the book was already in the bookstore I'll buy it. or sometimes I buy it online. hehe
