Dawson Yes please! That trilogy made me a fan for life! Still trying to get caught up on my re-read of the Mistwraith books! Ha! The Empire trilogy totally needs to be a movie or TV series! So fantastic! Definitely need to be able to add it to my Kindle backup library. ;)

Janny Thanks for your lovely note. Just curious: did you ever try my standalone To Ride Hell's Chasm? Seemed a fit for Empire readers. Wondering if you had heard of it.

Dawson It's on my 328 book TBR pile at the moment! Ha! So, yes, I've heard of it and want to read it! :)

Janny Thanks - your pile is a whole lot worse than mine (that seems impossible) - don't start an avalanche!

Dawson I can never stay in books. Read 102 last year (avg between 300-500 pages). Falling a bit behind at only 51 so far this year due to having a baby in the house. Hopefully I'll get to all those lovely books in my stack at some point. I've had to transition from the nice paper kind to a Kindle to handle the groaning in our home's foundation. Plus it makes it easier to carry a few hundred around with me on business trips overseas. ;)

Janny Update on this: the e rights issue has FINALLY been resolved, and the process of getting e publication lined up is at long last underway. Should have a solid answer soon, after years and years of delay.

Dawson Fantastic news Janny!! Looking forward to adding them to my ereader and rereading the series! I've read it several times back when I was still going through all of the Midkemia books. As others have noted the Empire series would definitely make a fantastic TV series if anyone ever picked it up!

GreatZen Does this resolution of rights issues apply to the audiobooks, as well?

message 9: by Janny (new)

Janny Yes, it does. I'm please to announce the e book is already available, and the audio version is licensed for release within a matter of days/weeks - Tania Rodruiguez is the narrator (same as the British release) and she does a fabulous job!
