you're right about this series being highly sexual but I think worse is, that the authos try to put any ideology into this book so that a story comes out that changes the world.
I mean:
Zoeys problems at home, her mother being dependent on Heffer - women should emacipate.
Damien being a gay and Aphrodite not accepting this - accept the homosexuals (I also think that you may not discriminate against anyone because of his sexuality - but it is mentioned so often that this topic gets annoying)
Heffer believing in God and following a strange, super-christian religion - fanatics are bad, also religion may lead in the wrong direction
Zoey has many boyfriends and can't decide upon one - live your love life, somehow you will find one that fits but being honest and loyal isn't that important, cause there are others waiting.
zoey not telling her friends secrets - friends? you don't need them. nooo, they are not there to share your problems with you (sarcasm)
...
you see? I wouldn't forbid anyone to read this book - but it isn't great fun to read this anymore, if you get hit by something like this on every second page - it is somehow annoying and also too obvious.
