It's funny 'cause that's almost exactly what one character says at one point in the book
I think perhaps Donna is suggesting that is in actual fact the very sentence Hobb refers to, rather than suggesting an imaginative offering. After all she was responding to a post asking what sentence Hobb might have been referring to, so naturally Donna has proffered the sentence she thinks most fits the bill from the actual book.
Can we talk about how beautiful that sentence was though? When I came across it, I seriously spent five minutes reading it over and over and smiling like an idiot! "Oh, my boy. The best mistake Chivalry ever made was you..." *siiiigh*
Arguably, the best sentence in the entire book. That sentence , in my opinion, embodies just how good a writer Robin Hobb is. And why I just can't get enough of her books
