Sandra Thanks - It sounds very interesting. I loved the girls and their interaction with each other.

D. Simmons Me too. They make me wish I had sisters.

Sandra I just came home from spending 3 days with 3 of my 5 sisters. I also have 4 brothers, but unfortunately my husband and I ended up with 3 wonderful sons but only one wonderful daughter (so, sadly, our daughter doesn't have any sisters either). She is also an author and got me very interested in reading lots and lots of books.

D. Simmons 10 kids! Wow! Now that's amazing. Probably makes for some interesting gatherings ;) I've always been envious of big families. My grandmother had 5 kids but nobody else in her generation even came close to that many. Now, my great grandmother had 9 (7 girls and 2 boys).

The boys (err men) passed on before my time so for as long as I can remember the various branches of our family tree have been headed up by matriarchs. Watching my grandmother and her sisters and their varied personalities inspired the Morrow girls. For example, one of her middle sisters should've been in showbiz. When I was little she'd put on the soundtrack to The Wiz and sing all the songs for a captive audience. She'd act out parts too. LOL. So, clearly there's a bit of her in Jackie. It's amazing the memories that stay with you.
