I should have said that in the first year, I met Dr. Frank Ochberg, and became part of his Dart Center for Journalism & Trauma. That REALLY helped. I didn't even realize what I was going through until then, when I learned how common it was.
It's been a life-saver ever since. Literally. If Frank had not helped me through my relapse in 2006, I don't know where I'd be now.
Hey, so I just fleshed out my answer above. I kind of told the collapsed version of it the first time. (Because I'm always torn between being quick or thorough. Usually I wait for thorough, then get distracted, and it could be six months before something reminds me I never answered. So I did the quickie version first so that you'd have an answer. And then I came back to set it right today. :)
