Not necessarily, remember how good Shallan is at disguises. No reason to think that Rock wouldn't be equally good at hiding his identity. Also he left home when she was very young. She even said once that she didn't know if she would recognize him if she saw him. And the only reason for thinking her brother is dead is because someone wearing his shardplate was killed. It stated the face was to badly damaged to identify.
I don't buy it - it would require Rock to maintain a flawless illusion almost 24-7 lest his bridge mates find out. Where did he get training for that and an almost endless supply of stormlight to maintain said illusion.
