Not quite. More that Eva's question in that quote is a question for us, the reader. As others on this site have suggested, maybe the ending takes place in a spirit world, which Marina may have accessed by doing the solstice ritual. Or it could be a dream she has. Most optimistically, it could be Marina's foreknowledge of a real event: that the girls are rescued.
