Lol. Agreed. But there's still something the film can't quite match. That's the brilliant descriptions of the multidimensional trip of weirdness at the end.
The movie had it as basically a (stunningly filmed) cool light show. The book portrays it as something utterly mindblowing and indescribable.
Which makes it even more impressive that Kubrick was able to put it on screen so well.
