Hello, I haven't read (yet!) My Real Children. I'm just curious: are you talking of the "Perché no" gelateria in Florence?

Yes, I am. My favourite gelateria in the world. A chunk of MRC takes place in Florence.
Wow! I live in Florence and I know the "Perché no" gelateria very well. I've just discovered your books (first Among Others, then the Small Change Trilogy) and I LOVE them. Now I have another very good reason to read My Real Childen, too.

If you look on the bookshelf in Perche No! you'll see copies of MRC in English and Italian. :-)
I MUST go, as soon as I can! And it's a good excuse for enjoying some ice-cream, too. ;-)
