No, but to realize its mistakes, you can read the Holy Quran, and read about the story of Imam Khomeini's fatwa on Salman Rushdie and his book.

"Holy" Quran is written by ordinary people like every other book ever written. It's not the truth of "God". And instead of following some "Prophet", why not live your own life? It's your only one.
And I can answer your last question. You obey Imam Khomeini because you can't use your own brain to and that's because you need to obey someone.
My brain say "When you don't know something completely, then follow one who know it completely."
We obey imam Khomeini because he knew more about religion and how we must live and how to worship God.

It is one of the points Rushdie makes. Be aware of things that are called revelations or holy texts, because in the end it is written down by people who can write whatever they want.
Sorry, you are wrong! Nobody can write like the Holy Quran. If anybody could, we had seen it, since 1400 years ago.
